After sharpening pencils in a giant pencil sharpener, mischievous Petit Poilu dives into the ocean of shavings he has made. He finds himself in an astonishing world where everything is drawn as scribbles! There our hero meets two brilliant crackpots: Gribouillis and Kraboutchat, who drag him into their energetic, gentle madness! What fun it is to act silly and let go! But... things are not that simple, because as the two pals get up to their antics, Petit Poilu's appearance starts to change... until he becomes a completely scribbled character! How will Petit Poilu, turned into a tangle of knots and lines, get his usual look back and find his way home?
