The 84 penguins: a committed picture book about protecting the planet
A big family of penguins discovers with worry that their ice floe is slowly disappearing. Forced to leave, they dream of discovering wonderful places on Earth: the southern sea, the eastern prairies, the flowery western hills or the northern forests… but everywhere, pollution makes life hard.
From the Moon, the planet looks so blue and beautiful… and the penguins realize that together, we can protect and heal the Earth.
This poetic, committed picture book shows children, simply and accessibly, why it matters to protect our planet. The 84 penguins refer to the first 84 countries to sign the Kyoto Protocol, a symbol of international cooperation on climate change.
