The not-so-silly donkey: a story of kindness and cleverness
This morning, the donkey got up at dawn and is walking along the still-sleeping paths toward the village. On the way, he meets the hen:
« Where are you going, donkey? »
« I’m going shopping for the stingy king. » he replies.
The hen, impressed by the donkey’s patience and strength, decides to join him and climbs onto his back with two fresh eggs. Soon the duck, the pig and the rabbit join them, all intrigued by the donkey’s kindness. But when they reach the village, they discover that the donkey isn’t as silly as they thought…
A tale full of tenderness and humor where kindness, cleverness and modesty triumph. The somewhat lazy animals learn never to underestimate those willing to put their heart into their efforts.
