A gentle, poetic story about the search for happiness
Little rabbit asks himself a big question: what is happiness?
To find the answer, he sets off to meet his neighbors and the creatures of the forest.
He asks each of them: « Say, what is happiness? »
The answers are all different. For the flower, it’s feeling the sun’s rays warm her petals. For the great oak, it’s feeling strong and majestic. The bird finds happiness in the freedom to fly, while the she-bear is happy scratching her back against a tree before enjoying a bit of honey.
Through his encounters – with voles, a butterfly… and even a child – little rabbit discovers that happiness can take many forms and can be found all around us.
A beautifully illustrated picture book, full of gentleness and tenderness, that invites kids and grown-ups to reflect on this universal emotion we all seek.
