A poetic coming-of-age story about courage and fear
At the edge of a wood, a child dreams of adventure. In fairy tales, it’s always in the forest that heroes have extraordinary encounters: it’s where Little Red Riding Hood met the wolf and Gretel faced the witch. He too hopes for an experience that will help him grow.
But deep in the woods, he comes face to face with a gigantic wolf. Faced with this fearsome monster, he gets scared and runs away… until he turns into a timid little rabbit.
Before disappearing, the wolf makes him a strange promise: he will come back to see him.
But why would he go back to see the wolf?
A captivating, sensitive picture book that explores childhood fears and the path to courage.
